Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

forgd, Inc. ("forgd", "we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights in relation to it. By using our website and services, you agree to the practices described here.

01 Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us when you:

  • Submit our "Start a conversation" form (first name, last name, work email, telephone, and a description of how we can help)
  • Register for or attend a forgd workshop, briefing, or event
  • Subscribe to our communications or updates
  • Correspond with us by email, phone, or LinkedIn

We also collect certain information automatically when you visit our website, including your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and referring URLs. This data is collected in aggregate and is not used to identify you personally.

02 How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your enquiries and follow up on your interest in our services
  • Manage engagement and event logistics
  • Send relevant updates and announcements where you have opted in
  • Improve our website experience and understand how visitors engage with our content
  • Comply with legal obligations and protect our legitimate business interests

We will never use your information for unsolicited bulk marketing, nor will we sell your personal data.

03 Sharing Your Data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share your data with:

  • Trusted service providers — such as the communication and workflow tools we use to manage enquiries and engagements (for example, Slack and email platforms). These providers are contractually bound to protect your data.
  • Professional advisers — lawyers, auditors, and insurers where necessary for our legal or regulatory obligations.
  • Regulatory authorities — where we are required to do so by applicable law.

04 Cookies

We use a small number of cookies. A strictly necessary cookie remembers your cookie choices; with your consent, we also use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. We do not use advertising cookies.

  • forgd_consent — strictly necessary. Stores your cookie preferences. First-party, expires after ~180 days.
  • _ga / _ga_<id> — analytics (Google Analytics 4). Distinguishes visitors and sessions to measure usage in aggregate. Expires after up to 2 years.

Your choices depend on where you are. In the EU, EEA, UK, and Switzerland, analytics cookies are set only after you opt in. In the United States and elsewhere, analytics runs unless you opt out, and we honor the Global Privacy Control browser signal as an opt-out request.

You can review or change your choices at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page, or by adjusting your browser's cookie controls. See Google's opt-out for an additional analytics opt-out.

05 Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected — typically the duration of our business relationship, plus a reasonable period thereafter for legal and administrative purposes. Contact enquiries are generally retained for up to 3 years unless a business relationship continues.

You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Your Rights below).

06 Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Request deletion of your personal data
  • Object to or restrict certain processing activities
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details in the Contact section below. We will respond within 30 days.

07 Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. Our website uses HTTPS encryption and access to personal data is limited to those with a legitimate business need.

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you have concerns about a potential data incident, please contact us immediately.

08 Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites, including partner organisations such as Anthropic and LinkedIn. These sites operate under their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of external sites.

09 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we may notify you directly where we hold your contact details.

Your continued use of our website after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
